Leaving For Vacation Tomorrow Any Help Would Be Appreciated. Posted: 06-17-04 21:07pm
My question is concerning a heavy feeling
across my upper chest approx. 2 inches
below my collar bone. I also get shooting
pains through that area as well as up my
neck. I was checked into the hospital on
saturday the 12th and then checked out
sunday the 13th. While in the hospital
they did a ecg and isotop or however you
say it stress test on me where they took
pictures of my chest after they injected
me with some type of radiation and then I
ran on a treadmill and then they injected
more of the radiation in me and then after
I was done with the treadmill they took
more pictures. They also gave me
nitroglycerine while I was in and it
seemed to help. On sunday the doctor told
me everything looked good and my heart and
getting an adequate supply of blood to it
and everything came out ok. He said it
might be esophigeal spasms? Anyway since
I left the hospital, sunday night the pain
started coming back and as of today it has
gotten a little worse each day. I saw my
doctor this morning and he just said he
would try me on some medicine that was for
irritable bowl syndrome. It hasn't done
anything so far. So my question is should
I be really worried and cancel my trip and
loose all my money are wait until I get
back and have it checked out?
