Childcare. I Found It. Yay!!!...
Posted: 06-19-04 23:35pm

I finally found childcare that is perfect. I found a woman through an agency that provides childcare in here home. She provides 24 hour care and... It is only $75 a week. And if I get child care assistance when I move out it'll only be $15 - $25 a week for me. This is great ,b/c it means that I can work at night and that means more money. Yay!!!...

I am very happy for you! But, if you are working at night can't your man watch the baby then? Or does he work nights as well?

That is the thing he will be working some nights. But other nights he'll be watching the baby. But it is just great to know that for $75 a week, I have someone to watch my baby anytime.

Yeah that is absolutely wonderful. Most people who have daycare in their home have set hours that usually do not include nights!
Congrats!

Thanks. I know about the home daycare hours for most be she said that she is open 24 hours. And she shouldn't have told me that b/c if I need her I wouldn't mind imposing at all.

Oh yeah and my sister is gonna be spoiled, because not only do we pay her, but shes gonna bring her baby to my house to watch and we are gonna have food there for her. Or she can bring her own lunch. But we will have snacks and breakfast. So shes lucky! Lol.

We're trying to get my mother-in-law to move in town. I just love her and I know she will enjoy being near the baby. Only bad thing is she grew up in memphis, about 3 hours from us, and I know she will miss not being there. Her other two daughters still live close to there. Hopefully she will still come!

Nah just close. Although she's so great I don't think I would mind. But mike says she can't.

My mother in law (even though i'm not married, she is still a mother to me) is thinking about possibly moving down here to cal. To be near us and her grandchild. She has one where she lives, but that one is like 9 years old I think, or maybe even 12 now? Anyway, she wants to be able to see this one more often. So who knows. I love my mother in law, but she can drive me nuts at times, so she can live near by, but not with us!!! Lol!! Hopefuly she moves here, and she can help us watch our baby some times. Smile
