What to Bring Baby Home In....
Posted: 06-20-04 10:37am

K so im doing some laundry.. Washing some of my baby clothes (the smaller sizes) and im wondering.. What am I going to bring him home in??? Like the 1st outfit is supposed to be somethin special ya know? I wanna bring him home in something cute but I dont know if it should be a regular outfit, or something softer like pajamas or just little onesie type outfits because their skin will be sensitive. What do you think? And if ur havin a baby, do you know what ur bringing them home in for their first outfit? Just curious!~

This is what rylee came home in. It was a white frilly dress with the little ruffle bottoms and frilly socks. She had a bonnet too but it looked stupid because it was too big for her head! It's one of those heirloom bonnets that you give to them on their wedding day as a handkerchief for their something old. Anyway here's some pics of her in her dress.

I got this really cute outfit from gordmans, its pink and frilly lacey looking with little roses by the buttons and with a heart on it with roses by it on the like chest area that says baby on it, and it came with a matching recieving blanket and hat, its kinda like a onsie but its got little sleeves (like a t-shirt) and kinda little leg things but they are all frilly looking. I wanna post a pic but I cant til I got to my moms... Its soooooo cute!!

Man its harder for boys tho! Girls got the cute frilly dresses! Ohhhhhh well. I just dont know cuz my mom says they need extra comfortable things because their skin in so sensitive~ I have so many cute things (alot of onesies tho for 0-3months..Not just plain ones tho, their still cute) but maybe I will have to go out and buy a special outfit for his first day and pics* by the way rylee's outfit is adorable!!!!

Kari,
i brought josh home in a grey track suit with a little basketball on the pantleg. My advice, make sure the outifit is on the smaller side. I originally had a pooh sleeper for him to come home in, but it was too big so i'm lucky I brought an extra outfit. Just take something kind of small and comfy and warm!

Kari, I would take a cute onezie with you, but keep an eye out for an outfit that you fall in absolute love with. You can always have him in a really cute outfit for his hospital pics and to take him home, and then put him into a onezie, and just keep that outfit for a keepsake. I dunno.
Just keep your eye out, because I think you will know when you find it!
