Crying or Very sad my name is amber. I am 18yrs old and am a senior in high school, and this is my story. Me and best friend who is 17, have been best friends since the 8th grade. Well one night we went a little to far. But we used a condom. We didn't even get to finish because a friend interrupted. But I still got pregnant. We are so scared and do not know how to tell our parents. We know abortion is out of the question. We don't know what else to do. We both want to go to college but we don't know what to do with this baby. I am approx. 2months. I just found out last night and am so scared. He said we were in this together and we will find away. I need some comfort and advice on how we are going to tell our families. Thanx!

Pregnant By Mistake
Hi amber,
I fell pregnant at 16 years of age so you can only imagine how scared I was trying to tell my parents about it. I had no idea how they would react, but the way I saw it was, well I guess they are going to find out because i'm gonna get really fat. So, I started with my mum first, I didn't tell them together, that way once mum got over the shock she was actually a big help when the time came to tell dad. I was only 16 and I should have been thinking about where my education was going not how to raise a child, but the fact is it happened. The father has never had anything to do with the child, but we got through it, she is now 13 and I am 29. I am now married to the most wonderful man in the world who loves me and my daughter unconditionally. I am pregnant with our 2nd child. My parents have stuck by me through thick and thin and that is exactly what you should expect from loving parents. You have a very long and tough road ahead, but it won't kill you. You may have to put your college education off for a little while, but not forever. Good luck and don't under estimate your parents, when they realise they are about to be grandparents they will go to pieces and get all clucky.

Ok you messed up, but thats over now. You should tell your parents because they will be there for you. You need them the most. If you cant have this baby, then giver her up for adoption. There are many, many families who would love to have your baby, if you want to finish your dreams. Or you can hold on your dreams and have his baby. You can go to college but it will be harder. Good luck.
