recently, I will experience knee pain (at
the right side of the knee) in the morning
when I first get up from the bed. I
noticed that it only happens in the
morning and thereafter I will be fine. It
doesn't look like arthristis (i am too
young to have arthristis) and I am also
not overweight. Do I need to seek medical
attention?

Pain joints worse on waking in the morning
and worse on movement after sitting for
sometime are usually initial symptoms of
arthritis. But you need to be examined to
have an idea if there are any preliminary
changes of arthritis.

I went to consult a doctor and she
prescribed diclofenac for me. From the
web, I realised that this drug is commonly
used to treat rheumatic arthritis. When I
read further, the symptom of rheumatic
arthritis is usually stiffness in the
joint especially in the morning that could
last for an hour. But....My symptom seems
to be different. My stiffness/pain last
only a few seconds. The first bending or
stretching of the knee is difficult
thereafter I don't feel pain anymore.
From the web, I also realised that
diclofenac has alot of side effects. My
doctor told me that she had prescribed a
mild version of the drug (diclofenac 50).
Should I take the medication as
prescribed?

Homeopathic medicine has good remedies to
get rid of the pain. Rhus tox 200c three
doses a day for seven days would give you
a lot of relief.
