What Are the Chances It Could Happen?? Posted: 06-21-04 00:20am
I just recently started the nuva ring. I
followed the directions accordingly. I
planned, as stated in the directions, to
take the ring out on the appropriate day.
I started my period a week early and two
weeks prior to me taking it out....I left
the ring in. After nearly 12 days of
continual bleeding I took it out and the
bleeding stopped a few days later. I was
totally sexually active during this time.
My question is....Can ovulation still
occour while your mensturating? What are
the chances that ovulation and conception
could occour while bleeding and with a
contraceptive in? At this point I don't
know what to expect? I have no clue when
I should start my period again and if I do
should I put the nuva ring back in for a
second attempt??
Any information would be greatly
appreciated
