I thought a couple of months ago I had a
yeast infection. I used monistat 3 day
and it did not go away. Then I went to
the doctor and he perscribed a me a pill.
This did not take it away either. Then I
went and saw another doctor and she told
me that I should use another monistat
treatment because sometimes you need the
pill and monistat combined. This did not
work. This whole process took about two
months. Two months of worrying and
discomfort. Finally the discharge
started turning yellow and it was really
runny. It was grose. So I went to
another doctor and she dagnosed me with
bacterial vaginosis and gave me jell for
it. I think it actually worked. I still
feel slight discomfort, but not nearly as
bad as before. I am worried that it did
not fully go away. Does it take a while
for it to feel completely normal down
there even after treatment. Thankyou for
your replies.

Harper, I feel your pain. A couple of
months ago I was diagnosed with a yeast
infection than I got a bacterial infection
and from the antibotics I was on I got
another yeast infection. The bacterial
infection than came back and it never felt
like it went away. I paid to have extra
tests run and they came back normal but
now I have a reoccurring bacterial
infection that I have no idea why I keep
getting it I have changed my soap and my
birth control pills since the estrogen was
to low and they were causing vaginal tears
so they thought that could have something
to do with the infection. I have been on
3 different forms of antibiotics and the
only one that seems to provide complete
relief so far was the 7 day dose of flagyl
but I just ended it on monday. This whole
thing is rather depressing and I wish it
would just go away. I hope you figure out
what is causing yours and if you have
found anything out about what is causing
it i'm open to suggestions.
