Hi im 38 and for the last two years I just
cant seem to get my self off the lager
stella. Im a single parent who does not
trust many people so stella seems to be my
only friend!
I have a nice home a beautiful 3 year old
daughter so you would think that would be
enough and it should.
The doctor has offered me help but I dont
trust doctors as I feel they just use us
as guinea pigs.
Has anyone else managed to kick the
damaging habit?

I'd suggest that you talk with a
psychologist for a full analysis. If
needed, you may be directed to a 28 day
rehabilitation center, where you will
learn tecniques for coping without alcohol
by people who have gone through it. Or,
to get sober ... check out A.A.
(Alcoholics Anonymous). If you're ready
to make the first steps, the universe will
align to make it happen.

My boss died due to complications from
alcohol addiction. Though he was a 'highly
functional' alcoholic, his ability to
function under the influence did not save
him from what might have been a premature
death.
If you love those around you, it is worth
the struggle to beat the addiction. Until
you defeat it, it will always rule your
life.
Think about how much of a burden your
addiction is to others as well.
