Wow, calm down. For starters two condoms
probably means you were pretty protected,
so I doubt on that note she is pregnant.
Then there is the whole 'she's sick
thing'. A pregnant woman doesn't get sick
at conception (which your girlfriend
wouldn't even be at yet). Normally it
takes 5 to 7 weeks for a woman to begin to
have symptoms. Either her nerves caused
her to become ill or she has a summer flu
but I highly, highly doubt she is
pregnant.

Might it be that maybe she missed her
period(which I dont know she did) I
thought that if she would be pregnant the
baby would have taken time to grow about
some weeks, not in a day,see im still young
and im scared, because I rarelly can watch
myself and imagine watching a baby,i love
kids but I wouldnt be ready for one
yet, thank you you made me happy,
edit:oh and would it be good if I buy her
the pregnancy test?

Umm, no. Odds are good she isn't
pregnant. I don't think you get how it
works. If sperm does enter the vagina
(doubt it did in your case) it will take a
day or two for the sperm to find the egg
and fertalize it. Then the egg has to
travel down to the uterus and implant
itself on the uterine wall. This takes a
few days to a week. Once implanted it
begins to grow. A woman will not know she
is pregnant, nor have symptoms until after
her first missed period (and some women
don't even miss their first period). Your
girlfriend can't even be pregnant yet
(implantation marks the beginning of
pregnancy) let alone already be showing
signs.

Calm you down first all, she would not
know if she is pregnant until about 3 to 4
weeks later. She would not be showing
symptoms the very next day! Two condoms I
think you are very well protected. Her
body is probably preparing for her period
to come.

Actually two condoms is worse than wearing
one... I guess there is more of a chance
of "accidents" happening... But I really
really reall highly doubt she is pregnant.
She would not be feeling symptoms the
next day. I would suggest you two using
spermacidal condoms, and only using one,
and her possibly gettin on birthcontrol,
if you are willing to kill yourself if she
I pregnant. Just think where that would
leave her and the baby... ~learn about
sex, before you start having sex~

Most likely she is not pregnant. There
is a virus going around this summer, and
she probably has it. But for future
reference, if you are not ready for the
consequences of sex, then don't do it.

Also, if she is only two days pregnant,
then she wouldn't be getting symptoms
yet.
Don't worry about it.

No not at all. If she gets a positive
pregnancy test, then _that_ means she's
pregnant. Don't worry about any
symptoms. It all depends on what the
test says. Tell her to test if she is
worried. That is the only real way to
tell.

Listen buddy, your girlfriend can't get
pregnant that fast anyway. If she is
pregnant, and that was the first time
ya'll have had sex, then she didn't get
pregnant from you thats for sure. She
probably wouldn't know if she was pregnant
from you until a month later at least.
Maybe is jus putting on a show for you
because you can't have sex one day, and
then have syptoms of being pregnant the
next. It takes more time then that.
Don't worry. If she is pregnant, then
she lied to you man.

She could be pregnant. He used 2 condoms.
They break a lot easier that way. Why
would you even use 2? 1 desensitizes
enough but 2? I can't even imagine...

Greengirly18, where in the world did you
hear that you can't get pregnant when
having sex for the first time?? that's completely
wrong. See the following links:
myers, your girlfriend could have gotten
pregnant during her first time, but I
seriously doubt she's pregnant. You
don't show symptoms 2 days after
conception. She's probably a nervous
wreck from having just lost her virginity.
How old are you and your girlfriend, if
you don't mind me asking?

I agree with adzarkos' comment to
greengirly, she could most definitley be
pregnant even if shes only had sex once.
In this case, she wouldn't be getting
symptoms that fast so its probably a virus
like linux said. But wearing 2 condoms
isn't always as safe, they could break
easier that way. I suggest maybe her
getting on birth control, and you wearing
a condom. good luck with
everything though!

Just to clarify....Greengirly did not say
that you cannot get pregnant the first
time you have sex....She said that if his
girlfriend is already pregnant, and this
is the first time that they have had sex
then the baby isn't his....I can
understand the confusion, but I have to
agree with her on that one. I mean, if
she did just conceive two days ago, she
would not yet have symptoms of pregnancy,
and if she is in fact pregnant and far
enough along to have symptoms, then the
baby isn't his.
But, anyway, this is an old post, so I am
sure this is all resolved now. Just make
sure you only use one condom and have her
get on birth control or something just to
be safe. Good luck to you.

2 Condoms Cause Friction Posted: 07-28-04 14:40pm
Just wanted to let you know why everyone
is saying, "two condoms?!?!" the
reasoning behind this is friction. Two
latex condoms rubbing together are more
apt to break than the use of one.
Conception generally occurs 14-16 days
after the first day of a woman's last
menstrual period. (meaning if she
started her period today on the 28th then
in 14-16 days she could conceive.)
conception takes at least 4 days so under
no circumstance could your girlfriend be
pregnant exactly the day after you had
sex.
I think you both need to be educated
regarding this. It is very clear that
you are both naive in the way of sex.
The best prevention is knowledge.... And
appropriate prevention!

First of all since no one bothered to
comment on what I caught as the most
important part of your post...
Killing yourself, even if you are only 1/2
serious, would never be a good resort to
anything. If she was pregnant and it is
yours, parents, believe it or not are
pretty accepting of mistakes, even if it
takes time. If it really is an issue and
you are really troubled, talk to your mom
(or dad), you may be suprised. She will
also be proud of you for trying to be so
careful. You are 16, not 12.
Now, I agree with alot of what has been
posted here. Never use 2 condoms, if you
are looking for added protection, add
contraception foam, such as delfen to the
use of a condom. Don't stop using condoms
until you are ready to have children and
are paying your own health insurance
incase you contract a disease. Ok, that
having been said, of course its possible
to get pregnant your first time. However,
highly unlikely you pegged that timing
perfectly. Most likely at 16 her periods
are not regular as it is, so if she is
late, thats hard to tell, I bet even for
her. Now, vomiting would not be
happening already, that doesn't usually
hit until 7 weeks or so. Eating
constantly or always hungry, well I have
to say I don't know a 16 year old, boy or
girl who isn't always hungry. She would
be more apt this early to not eating as
much.
Now the hard part. I also agree with the
postings that she may in fact be pregnant,
and further along having real symptoms.
If this is the case you are being "had"
and she was not a virgin (guarantee you
wouldn't know the difference and I don't
mean that as an insult) and she is using
you for two reasons, she doesn't want you
to know she cheated on you and wasn't a
virgin, and you are the nice guy who will
help her through this emotionally and
financially.
Try not to worry, talk to your mom if it
continues and don't give her
(girlfriend)so much attention about it.
If she really is you will have family
support through whatever you choose to do.
However, just a suggestion, from a legal
standpoint depending on whatever state you
are in, claiming fatherhood (even if it
ends up being someone else's baby) makes
it easy for her to make you financially
(or your family) responsible. If you say
it is your baby at anytime, its difficult
to court order her to have a paternity
test done on the child. This is all
hypothetical, but if she is, and its born,
wait until after a paternity test is done
to offer up anything financially. Giving
her money (in some states) is basically
accepting parenthood. I am not saying
don't be responsible, I am saying be
smart.
But that is all heresay. I highly doubt
she is pregnant.
Good luck

Good point about the killing himself. It
was overlooked.
But anyway, just wanted to say again, not
all women ovulate at the same time, so
that whole 14....Day thing does not work
for everyone!

Ditto on the 14 day after your period
ovulation thing.
Women ovulate almost always 14 days before the
first day of your menstrual
period, the time between day
of of your menstrual period will be the
most varied. I.E. Day one: start your
period... Anywhere from day 10 to day
30-something (or later) could some women
ovulate. The thign to do is not count 14
days forward from your first day of your
period, but to, for example, on day one of
your period, look back 14 days and
realize, "oh I ovulated then." if you
chart it, you have a much better chance of
knowing how to predict ovulation. But
that "day 14 = ovulation day" is flat out
wrong, and very harmful to purport.
That said, much like everyone else has
noted, if that was her only sexual
activity, then no way would she in two
days after the sexual event be having
pregnancy symptoms.
