I just had botox injections yesterday in
my upper back and I already can feel the
difference. I developed myfascial pain
syndrome about 14 years ago and had a
spinal fusion on c-5 / c-6 in 1997.
I've been through trigger point
injections, cervical epidurals and wear
the durageis 25 mg patch.
My insurance would not cover it but it's
worth not having that constant, nagging
pain.
Yay!!

Botulinum toxin a (botox) or botulinum
toxin b (myoblock) are excellent drugs to
provide temporary relief from myofascial
pain. Most patients derive 3-6 months
relief from one injection.
