I've come across the name kai, but I think
its a little short for a first name. Does
anyone know of anything kai can be short
for?

Erin ~ there was a german exchange student
in my highschool one year whose name was
kai. That was his full name. Im not sure
what kai could be short for...Hmmmm...Lets
think.......Ok ill get back to ya if I
come up with anything....

I had a teacher named kai, I like that
name. I don't think its too short..But I
can't think of anything it could be short
for, for a boy..?
Kaia for a girl.. But thats still short.

The shortest name I ever heard was a
chinese girl when I was at school. Her
name was i, it was pronounced "ee". I'm
sure it meant something poetic in chinese!

I think kai can be short for kyle but I
dont know how you would spell it. I like
it though. I would recommend always
spelling it as kyle and the just kinda
callin him kai. But I definitly like it.
It's different. And I only know one guy
with that name too. Good choice. ~
