I have very irregular periods. So
irregular that I never know when they are
coming. It could be 2 weeks, it could be
10 months (that is the longest I have gone
without one). I assume that I was
ovulating 2 and a half weeks ago because
of mucus that never comes. My husband
& I were having sex alot (i hope that
isn't tmi) at that time. Now I am having
cramping like I am on my period, and just
yesterday started havin this brownish
discharge. I have been having headaches
like mad lately. I am an emotional wreck
also. Anything can make me cry (even
cartoons) anything can make me happy,
anything can piss me off. We have no
health insurance and can't afford to go to
the Dr. I have taken a hpt, but it was
negative. That was before the brownish
discharge. Does anyone have any advice
for a way to get help to go the dr? Has
anyone every had implantation bleeding?
What was it like? Cramps? Emotional?
I have always wanted a child more than
anything, but have always been told by
Dr.S that I would have to take fertility
drugs if not invitro in order to get
pregnant. Now I all of a sudden feel
unprepared & scared as much as I want
to have a child. Any advice on how to
lower stress levels? If I am pregnant, I
want the baby to be as healthy as
possible. Thanks-

Sdaea,
can't help much on the implantation bldg.
However, some of the other stuff I can. I
also had no insurance beg. Of my first
preg. And wanted to see for sure if I
was. You can go to a non-profit org.
That helps people that are preg. They
test for free. Usually in phone book, or
call up a local clinic or hosp. And ask
for a ph. Number. I also am currently on
a medicare type of insurance for
reproductive health only. This covers
paps and reprod. Problems and preg.
Tests. If you are, then when you have
paper proof you are preg. You can get on
medicare most places. (and wic if you
have that out there.)
an obvious way to lower stress is to find
out for sure one way or another. Heck,
even planning the appt. For a test will
help a little.
What calms you down? A bath? Soft music?
A lil chocolate? Talking to a friend?
We are here if ya need that...
By the way, brownish discharge in preg.
Is not usually a worrisome thing, ok?
