About 4 weeks ago I had sex for the first
time (protected) it was the day right
after my period. I have the most
irregular periods ever, I only get it like
every three months. Anyway, my friends
all say there was no chance that I was
fertile and we did use a condom so the
chances of me being pregant are very slim.
But i've had to pee a lot more lately
and i've been gaining weight steadily,
which is very unusual for me. With my
periods being so irregular would a store
bought pregnancy test be accurate, or
would I have to go see a doctor for sure?
Thoughts, comments, advice all is
welcome. Thank you.

Well, chances are you might not be
pregnant. Being fertile is the best time
to get pregnant, but your not fertile the
day after your period. You need to take a
test after your next period is due. And
if you are irregular, talk to your doctor
about getting on the pill to regulate your
periods. You should take a test in the
next month or so, ok? Good luck.

You are most likely not pg. But there is
always the chance. So in the next month
take a pg test. Go see your Dr. And get
on the pill. It will help with regulating
your cycle and help keep pg risk down
some. I know I had to get on the pill to
regulate and it really did help. I have
been sexually active since and I am not pg
yet. So try that
