Ok you guys. This is really special to me
(dont ask why I kept it, I just did and
i'm glad, lol) and just thought I would
share because it was the evry first
pregnancy test I ever took. Did anyone
else keep their pregnancy test??? Or am I
just weird???

Awww. I kept mine but im bummed out cuz I
cant find it. We moved here to his moms
is feb and its somewhere in the basement
with all our stuff. When we move I hope I

Found em . I saved all 4. But only 2 of
em (the first responses) stayed where u
can see the lines so I threw away the epts
but I got 2. Aw im gladi still have em.
Im puttin them away in a safe keep box
today*
I would keep mine if I was preg. The two
times I took them, I wasn't so I didn't
keep this of course!

Does anyone have the memories box? Well I
got my 2 pregnancy test wrapped up in a
tissue and put in one of the drawers of
it. I also have the tissue I cried on
when I found out in it too. Come to find
out my mother saved hers also. She went
with me when we went to the free pregnancy
center and when I came out I said I am
gonna be a mommy. She already knew cause
she heard me criening in the other room
and then I got sick and had to run to the
bathroom. My mom said is that my daughter
in there, can I go see her? They told her
I would be out in a minute and so I came
out. I wanted to say your gonna be a
grandma, but I could not for some reason I
was so overwhelmed I just cried out I am
gonna be a mommy and she ran and hugged
me. She had a pink tissue and when we got
home a couple days later I seen the tissue
and I said what is this mom. She said
that is the tissue I cried on when we
found out about the baby. I said you
saved yours? Then I showed her in the box
that I had saved mine too. I am what you
call a keepsake dork I guess, lol!

Awe heather, that story brought a couple
tears to my eyes... Sorry, I been all
emotional lately... Lol I cried when I
watched "the color purple" in the begining
when they take the baby away from the
little girl.
But yea, I tried to keep my pregnancy
test cuz im all sentimental like that, but
I never put it away someplace safe, for a
couple days I left it on my end table (lol
dont worry, it had the cover on it and
everything) and I went to spend a couple
days at my moms and then I came home and I
asked kevin where my pregnancy test went
and hes like "oh I threw it away" I yelled
at him and told him I wanted to keep it
and he said "yuck! You pee'd on it"...
Its like so what! Its my pregnancy test!
Its when I first found out about our baby!
Its important to me!.... But yea, I dont
have mine no more and it makes me sooo
angry just thinking about how I dont have
it to put into my keepsake box that im
gonna put her first everything in... God,
guys are jerks, they just dont understand
sometimes! I wanna cry now... I want my
pregnancy test back...

Wow, I am so glad that there are other
"memory horders" out there.... I thought
I was strange cause I kept my girls tests,
caileys is even in her photo album cause
it was a flat one, ambers is in her memory
box.... I have the ones from the baby I
lost, but they are still in the box they
came in cause I dont know what to do with
them.... I want to keep them, but they
are also a painful reminder of what could
have been.
I also kept the girls hospital blankets
that they were delivered into (washed of
couse) the little nighty and singlet that
they were first put into and their tags,
thermomitor, tape that they measure them
with, the little sign that they put in the
cribs, my yellow card ( a card that is
issued to all pregnant women that the
midwife writes on at all clinic visits)
and their cord clamps. Plus things like
their first and last dummy (pacifier)
their first shoes, their first dresses,
cards and pressed flowers, their hand and
feet prints, their baptisimal
candles...... Well just about every thing
really.....As I said I am a memory
horder....... They are only babies for
such a short time and these are things
that help me hold on to them for so much
longer.....

I finally threw mine out just a few weeks
ago because we're about to move and I was
packing but I do have pictures of mine. I
think my grand total was 5. I was just
making sure! Lol!

Omg did anyone else keep their baby's cord
stump too? I kept josh's. And I have the
cord clamp from the hospital and the
tshirt they put on him right after he was
born, and the hat they put on him when he
was born, I am a pack rat! I am afraid to
get rid of anything!!! So I save
everything.....I didn't save my tissues
from finding out....They were all snotty
cuz I blew my nose....Lol. I'm glad i'm
not the only person who kept it.....I
thought I was weird.
