No B/c For a Week B4 Starting New Pills Posted: 06-26-04 10:38am
Ok I have been on errin for 2 months and I
can't afford to pay for it every month.
So I intend to go to the clinic and get on
their b/c for a lower cost. But the
problem is, I run out of pills on thursday
and I can't get in until week after
next....Will it matter if I go about a
week without being on the pill? I am
going to finish my pack but does it matter
if im not on it for a week? Thanks!

Use Backup For Sure! Posted: 06-26-04 17:38pm
Hey,
if you're not on bcp for 2 weeks then I
would say that you will have definately
begun to ovulate and therefore not be
protected for the next month. Double
check with the clinic when you go (i'm no
doctor) but I do know that missing pills
at the begining of your cycle is a much
graver offense then at the end - as you
will have gone so long without them that
their effects are no longer in your
system. If there's any possibile way
that you can get to the clinic earlier - I
say do it (or suck up for one last months
payment on your current pills) otherwise -
if you're having sex use backup.

Oh no! I'm not having sex right now, I am
just on birth control as a precaution, I
don't need another baby! Lol....And I
always use condoms anyways. I meant would
it like mess up my cycle at all? Or would
it have any effects? I don't run out of
pills until thursday and I can't get into
the clinic until monday but I figure I
should be alright....Right? Lol.
