I've heared alot about what to do when you
miss a pill, but what if you missed a pill
b/c you lost it? I dropped a pill and
lost it during the first week into the
ortho tri-cyclen pack. I didnt know what
to do, so I took the next day's pill and
continued like that. This means that I
finished the pack a day early. Do I need
to worry about pregnancy? I havent used
any backup.

You did the right thing. All this means
is you will finish the pack one day early
and if you were a sunday starter you will
now start your new pack on saturday.
Because you haven't gone a day without
taking a pill you have been covered the
entire time and do not need to worry about
getting pregnant.

Hey dont worry I have done the same thing
a few times. You dont have anything to
worry about. You just finished your pills
a day sooner.
:di think this is a great site so please
do not be offended but... I was wondering
why nobody asks their pharmacists
questions about missed pills, late
pills,etc... Many pharmacies are open 24
hrs.So you can call and not have to be
embarrassed. Also, phramacists are
required by law to explain all new
prescriptions to their customers!!! All
questions are kept confidential. :d

I think its easier to post something on
here and get responses than call a
pharmacy. Calling a pharmacy could return
better answers but its also more
embarassing.
