No Hard Feelings! Posted: 09-22-03 13:07pm
Hey I noticed over the weekend (i wasnt in
the forum) alot of people were not getting
along and saying that alot of us were
being hard.
Thats how some of us are. If you come in
here and you are 17, 18, 14, 24 and you
are having unprotected sex, using the
"withdraw method" (which isnt even a
method anyways) and are freaking out
because you might be pregnant. We all are
going to remind you to get a condom, get
on birthcontrol, or even tell you you are
too young for sex. You might not like it,
but you will hear it.
We arent bitter or acting like mean
b*tc#es, but we have all been there and we
know better. Its for your own good. If
you talk to us more, you will find out we
are nice and helping you out.
Again we are not trying to be mean so no
hard feelings but dont take it wrong if we
give a reminder or little lecture.

I know that yall are referring to me. I
have come to the realization that yall
arent being hard on me. I am not
stressing that I might be pregnant. I am
jsut asking for advice. In some previous
posts..I have thanked yall for being so
straight forward with me. I appreciate
the honesty!!
once again, thank you for the honesty.
Its nice to have some one be (in caps)
real with me!!!

what your going through (i've been there),
sometimes its hard to listen to people be
"real", I know when I was pregnant the
last thing I wanted was someone telling me
I should have have unprotected sex. Once
again let us know how your getting on!

Nikki I read that and I was so shocked I
couldn't respond. I thought I should cool
down before I respond so I don't sound
harsh!

I know what you mean!! And im in the
other forum under pregnancy and barons
girl is still having unprotected sex and
wondering if shes pregnant. Well of
course she might be!!! I was thinking she
would wait until she knew but shes not
helping by having sex...And unprotected to
top it off. Pulling out is not a method!
No matter what he says!

No your right it certainly isn't. I
understand if your using protection and
still get pregnant of if the condom
happens to break but if your continuing to
have unprotected sex what do you expect.
It's not that im judging these girls I
just wish they would think about what
theyre doing because it can be so
dangerous and devastating.
Very well said girls! I wish I had more
to add but you guys are taking all of my
thoughts! Lol
good luck and best wishes

I know what you are saying. I keep going
into these room and seeing girls saying "i
didn't use protection" or "he pulled out"
or "the condom broke."
fact is, is there is no way to fully
protect yourself then to wait until the
age where you know that in case the
inevitable happened, you would be mature
enough to handle it. I know. I am 21 and
had my kids at 17 and 19. I know what it
is like to go through all of that, but
now, it's like I want to beat the sense
into these girls. They just really don't
know what they are getting into. With my
first daughter, I had the typical guy who
said he would be there and love my
daughter and support us. He hasn't been
around in 4 years!!!!! My son who was
born when I was 19, I have been with his
father for 4years and we are happily
married. But it's getting insane. I wish
I could just have a huge conference and
get all these girls for a day to sit and
listen to what really happens after you
get pregnant that young. I mean, yes,
children are beautiful and they love you,
but it doesn't take away the fact that you
lose your social life, your high school
year, your friends, everything is for that
child. I don't want to preach either, but
I wish they would open there hearts and
minds and listen to the ones who have been
there and use common sense. Protect
yourselves!

I couldnt agree with you more! I would
love to do a little "teen camp" for girls
and teach them all about it. Even have
those electronic babies that cry so they
can know whats its really like. I wish I
had the money to do that! You know,
interview girls, give them a baby and a
room. Have them there for a week to see
if they still want babies or hold off.
And during the week teach about sex, std's
problems things like that. Its just a
thought...
