Just excercise and cut out a few fat foods
every day. Lets say you want to eat out
for lunch, get a salad or something light
instead of other foods. Walk or run
everyday. I play tennis and that was a
workout! If you want a pizza, get it thin
crust and vegetables instead of thick
crust with meats on it. Eat little or no
breads and pastas. That should all help.
And cut out soda. I saw on tv they said
for some who has a soda everyday for the
year can gain over 20 pounds! I have my
koolaid now! Haha

Lose Weight, Eat More! Posted: 09-29-03 17:11pm
If you are small anyway, you probably have
a very fast motabolism and probably don't
need to lose pounds. If I am guessing
correctly you want to look like you've
lost a few pounds. My advise for you is
to eat healthy foods. You can eat as much
pasta as you want so long as it is complex
carbohydrates and not enriched. Follow
the most simple diet that isn't a diet out
there, the food pyramid. Try and get into
the gym 3-4 times a week, and if you don't
already, start weight training. You may
think that if you lift weights you will
bulk up and be big, that is untrue. If
you keep your weight low and do more
repetitions you will build muscle, enough
to burn calories for you all day. The
more muscle you have on your body the
easier it is for you to lose weight. Good
luck! And be careful not to injure
yourself when you are lifting!
Exercise and a healthy diet is definitely
the way to go. You don't have to cut out
carbs like bread and pasta. Actually you
shouldn't!! Whole grain breads and whole
wheat pasta are the way to go, but keep
and eye on your portions.

That depends on your specific needs.
Atkins and like low-carb diets are doctor
recommended for some people.
The original poster here, I doubt needs to
go to such an extreme just to lose a few
pounds, but to just generally say that no
one should cut out carbs is a false
statement. Try reading up on low-carb
diets and how and why they work. When
you understand how they work, then all of
the doubts are usually aleviated.
