I took three pregnancy test and they all
said that I was pregnant, but I went to
the doctor because I was hurting and he
said that I was okay. I ended up having
to go back the next day because I was
bleeding, and still he told me nothing was
wrong, but when I got home I had a red,
pink clot in my underwear, so I went to a
different doctor. They did a ultrasound
and took some blood to see if I was still
pregnant and they said that I am, but i'm
still bleeding like my period is on, do
you think I have lost my baby even though
the doctor said that i'm still pregnant?
Please let me know because I have been
worrying myself to death, because I really
wanted my baby. I need to know!!!!!

I dont think you miscarried bcuz when u do
u will bleed really heavy, but if its like
your period you are ok. Some people still
have their periods when pregnant.

I was 8 weeks pregnant when I found out.
I had been 2 or 3 weeks pregnant and had a
regular period. I didn't realize I was
pregnant until I missed a period. Yes you
can have a period and be pregnant. Not
really common but it happens. Also, if
you're having cramping that also happens.
It's your uterus stretching so don't freak
out.

Natasha: another alternative test for
miscarriage and molar pregnancy is your
hcg count...It should be increaseing
daily. They can measure your hcg through
hemocrit (blood count) for an actual
number, unlike a urine test. After a few
days, they will have you come in for
another one to see if it has increased.
If so, you may not have anything to worry
about, bleeding is common. And if you've
had a second opinion, I would trust the
doctor. If you are in your first
trimester, you should be as carefull as
can be, this is your most crtitical time
in pregnancy. Unfortunatly, I had a
miscarriage myself and this is how they
tested for me. If you do have a
miscarriage (and heaven forbid),
understand that it is your body's
"defense". Miscarrige is the spontaneous
abortion that usually happens because
there is something wrong (chromosones,
etc.) with the embryo/fetus. Infact, 50%
of miscarriages are unknown to the mother.
