Believe me, that is not something you want to do. It will make you feel awful and you will start to do it all the time and not be able to stop. It will take over your whole life. You will be miserable. Take it from someone who knows--don't start. You may never stop. It is very dangerous to do that. You can even die from it.

Why not try doing something like cutting carbs and exercising instead? Check out the dieting forms on ehealth. Bulimia is not a diet, it is a sickness.

Take it from forced_therapy, bulimia is not your friend. It will kill you slowly. The best way is to eat a balanced diet with moderate exercise 3 times a week. Sounds boring, but it's the only way. I only wish somebody had told me that when I showed the first signs of bulimia (8 years ago)! But at that time, it was all about fad diets.
I am assuming you are really overweight, and not just thinking you are??

I live in the uk too, and I got help from the eating disorders association (you can get their number from nhs direct). They pointed me in the right direction. Or better yet, tell your gp. Mine was really nice about it and referred me for therapy, yours may too. If you feel you can't stop, the best thing to do is seek help now, while you are still young! Because you haven't done it long (i assume), you have much better chances of getting well. I know how hard it is, I was overweight most of my life. But with a little bit of help and support from your family, as well as a healthy eating plan, you will lose weight and feel better about yourself. Vomiting will not help, it doesn't work! Good luck.
