When Is the Best Time to See a Doctor... (why I Am Not Preg) Posted: 07-07-04 20:17pm
Me and my husband try to have our baby
since last year september and it almost 10
month already.. I ever have a scanning
and according to the doctor nothing is
block and everything is fine according
from the result of the normal scanning and
doctor says that I have a eggs and my
period is not a heavy one she just says
so.
So every month we try to have intercourse
around my ovulation time ..My period is
irregular but I can detacted my ovulation
day even so I still not pregnant and still
having so called * period* I wonder what
is going wrong... Will the problem come
from my husband ? It is so hard to ask
him to go for sperm testing. How can we
know the sperm is low or not ?? Can we
know by colors or volume ??
What is the best for me ?? Please give me
a suggestion
thanks

I Have Help Posted: 07-26-04 10:14am
I will make this short and sweet. I was
told I couldn't conceive. I tried
fertility drugs with no luck and 2 years
of upset and constant trying . I gave up
it was so awful. There were no physical
reasons why I wasn't ovulating. Sometimes
I was. Who knew. Finally I gave up. I
started working out. I lost 40 lbs. I
started enjoying sex again because I
wasn't concerned that there was an
outcome. 10 months later, I was 6 weeks
pregnant and didnt even know it. I have
had 3 children, all conceived naturally.
Just relax. It will happen. Concentrate
on getting healthy and maybe losing or
gaining weight if you need to do either.
(this has been proven to kick in a women's
hormones) you will feel better and more
sexual. If this is not an issue for you,
just relax and enjoy being a couple for a
bit. It will happen when you forget about
it!!!!!! My mother always said that and I
ignored her.
Good luck! Quit stressing, kids change
everything and it will happen in time. I
suggest doing things you wont be able to
do when they come, like bathing alone,
trips, sleeping in sometimes and going out
to movies!

I agree with kit. If you have only been
trying for 10 months, then you are nowhere
near needing to see a doctor. If you
haven't conceived after about 5 years, i'd
see a doctor then. My aunt tried for 13
years to have a child and spent tons of
money on medical procedures. As soon as
she gave up, she became pregnant naturally
after 13 years. Its so silly to think
that you need medical help after 10
months! I'm pregnant with my first child
and it took my husband and I 2 years.
Remember, you only get one chance a month,
so its not going to happen overnight.

After one year of infertility go see the
Dr. Some people have whats called primary
infertility, where they have been
infertile and have never had a child.
Secondary infertility is when something
else is causing infertility, such as being
overweight. Or you have already had a
child, but cannot now, for some reason.
It is very important to see your dr at
this time, your dr can help you determine
what kind of infertility you have, and
were to go from there.

Hey rinchan,
we havent spoken for ages and im sorry to
hear that your not pregnant. I dont know
if you remember me but im not pregnant
either and I have been trying for 15
months. My soon to be hubby and I
decided against seeing a doc as we wanted
to try all avenues first. I was so
irregular sometimes I wouldnt have a
period for three months eventually we
decided to see a fertility specialist and
now I have a cycle every 28 days but alas
soon to be hubby broke his leg, and had
surgery and we have not been able to have
snuggles until recently. Wasnt typical
break no plaster but metal rod inserted
through bone 3 months recovery time.
Have u looked into those sorts of things
as I take some capsules, I have to take my
temp at same time every morning and this
tells me when I ovulate by taking the
lowest temperature and looking out for
mucus I also have some special cream I
have to rub on my belly twice daily plus
the folate u should be taking.
I recommend seeing a herbalist and if that
dont work see a doc, and most importantly
relax that is the biggest key
from someone who cant wait to have a jelly
bean all of their own

timing.... Or my womb is weak..... I

stronger...Once a month I am taking
chinese herb... I think that is good for
regular cycle... And now I am taking iron

Hello...My husband and I have been ttc for
21 months...No luck..I finally went to the
dr after about a year and have been doing
tests, surgeries, everything...No luck
yet...But! I wouldnt wait b/c I know that
if I didnt go to the Dr. I would be
wondering "what if" they could have helped
me have a baby..."what if" something is
truly wrong and is only getting worse...
About the person saying to wait 5 years...
That is the most ridiculous thing I have
ever heard. Not conceiving after 1 year
is considered infertility. I think if I
waited 5 years I would drive myself crazy
thinking there is no hope!! At least
going to the dr gives me hope....Sooo good
luck and let me know how youre doing...
