Can Anyone Help Me? Posted: 07-10-04 02:04am
Okay my doctor has diagnosed me as post
traumatic, bi-polar with, with paranoid
dellusions, she doesnt know of any meds to
put me on because every med she knows of
react badly with the other disorders, shes
put me on effexor for ptsd and it reacted
badly with the bi-polar making my
moodswings way out of wack shes put me on
paxil for the bipolar and it made my
depression peak, she doesnt want to put me
on anything because she cannot think of
anything that would not react badly and
with how bad I have been lately with the
paranoia and the flashbacks I need
something before I go nuts, would anyone
have any advice that I could give my
doctor as to what to do to help me, or has
any one else been in a similar situation
involving the incapability to be put on
meds...? Pls let me know....

Awe darlin I wish I could help you out, I
feel for you big time. But perhaps if
she were to put you on more than one
medication at a time it would help. One
med for the post tramatic and another or 2
for the bipolar. You just might need a
higher dosage of the bipolar med since the
post tramatic med made the depression come
out badly. Hope this helps. Huuuuugs let
us know how things go.

Sounds like a real mess with the meds -
check out the information on ces &
sound & light machines which you can
find at alphastim.Com & also
dynamind.Com (alphastim got them first so
has more information but they cost more -
alot more than dynamind & my dr says
they're the same thing).
These may not help you but i'd think
they'd be worth checking as they wouldn't
interfere with anything - the ces machine
has helped my migraines, sleep (or
previous lousy sleep!!),
depression/suicidal & anxiety in only
a few weeks.
My dr does prefer to look for non-invasive
solutions & is opposed to
pharmaceutical companies making $$$$ off
patients when there are alternatives which
work better & last longer without side
effects!!

There Is Help Out There!!!! Posted: 09-25-04 22:39pm
My son was diagnosed with bi-polar over a
year ago and was extremely paranoid and
was hospitalized for over a week. They
had him so drugged that I looked for
another alternative. He has been drug
free for a year and takes a food
supplement that has given him his life
back. Anyone who is looking for an
alternative to drugs e-mail me and I will
let you know what he is doing.
My bro was on lithium for bipolar. It made
him too happy. You have to feel it to heal
it.People get on drugs for depression
because they cant handle or dont want to
deal with emotional pain.
