I have a friend who is a sophomore in high
school and is going on 16. I do not
believe she could possible be going
through menopause but I didn't not know
where else to go to ask this question.
She has been having hot flashes quite a
bit lately and is being stubborn and
refusing to see a doctor. I was wondering
if anyone knew anything about this or
could maybe give me an idea of whats wrong
with her so I could explain it to her or
giver he some advice.

get her to a doctor, it doesn't sound
right, there is a medical problem there
but I highly doubt it is menopause at 16
years of age. I guess it's possible but
you would think it would be more likely to
be related to some other kind of medical
problem rather than menopause. Maybe her
hormones are unbalanced ? Might be worth
getting her blood pressure checked to,
high blood pressure can be life
threatening, I have rushed my mum to the
hospital on numeous occasions because we
just can't seem to get her blood pressure
corrected with medication at the moment,
and she gets terrible hot flushes.
