My wife has recently shown signs of being
bitten by some type of insect. I think
that it is a spider bite as it is pretty
nasty looking.
The wound appears as a red swollen area
about the size of a fifty cent piece. It
has a black core about the size of this
letter--> o <-- maybe just a bit
larger. The redness radiates out from the
black core in lessining degrees and is
about the color of this smileys face at
the center -->

<-- it is also brused looking neart the
center.
The skin around the center appears to be
peeling sort of like a nasty burn.
This is the second time that she has been
bitten with the same symptoms. Both
occured at diffrent locations but in the
same area. And both are on her face and
within 1 inch of each other.
Ever since her first bite she has been
plagued with red sores that seem to have
no reason for appearing. We have
eliminated everything from soaps to
nocturnal scratching trying to solve the
mystery.
The bite wounds are not painfull but there
is a mild discomfort due to the swelling.
The first one left a pockked scar similar
to bad acne scars and the sores do the
same thing. Just not as bad.
We cant afford the e.R. And have no med
insurance either. And we make too much $
to get state aide.
We desparatly need some advice as to what
we should do.
Thank you in advance. L & w smith
