My husband and I have been trying to have
a baby for 3 months. This month I have
missed my period. I am 4 days late. I
haven't had any signs of my period such as
the bloating or cramps. I've taken a
pregnancy test and it has come back
negative. I'm afraid that they might be
something wrong with me that will prevent
me from having another baby. But is
there a possibility that I could be
pregnant even though the store bought
tests come back negative? Should I still
make an appointment at my doctor for a
pregnancy test?

There is definitely a chance you are
pregnant. You can either continue taking
test for the next few weeks or like you
said go to your doctor. I think that
might be the best bet, instead of
agonizing over it for weeks. Best of luck

Isn't it just the worst feeling having to
stress over it every month. "am I going
to start?" in my long drawn out experience
of trying to conceive, store bought tests
are pretty acurate, but if you dont have
enough hormones in your urine yet it
could take a little longer to register.
Sometimes if you are wanting it so bad, (i
know the feeling!) your body might just
freak a little and start late. Hopefully
this is not what it happening to you. If
you dont want to go to the docs just yet,
wait a little longer and retest. In the
mean time, try to think of something else.
(not so easy I know!).
I'll cross my fingers for you, if you'll
do the same for me:)

Well, it's been almost a week now and
still no period or signs of a period. As
difficult as it has been, i'm going to
hold out just a few more days before I
call for a doctors appointment. I
haven't had any definite signs of being
pregnant - no morning sickness or
anything. But I didn't have morning
sickness either with my first child. So
at this point, i'm just playing the
waiting game between my period or a
positive result - whichever comes first.
The anxiety is killing me and my husband !
I'm trying not to think about it and
hope it make the time go by faster. If
nothing happens by next week, i'll call
the doctor. In the meantime, my husband
and I are praying to the "seed" doctor and
hope that we've been successful ! Think
"it's a girl ! "
