Stop worrying about it, hiv and aids do not have symptoms that are swollen tonsils. personally I dont think that your tatoo has anything to do your swollen tonsils. To be on the safe side got to your doctor and request a test.

Don't worry about it. The chances are slim. If they are certified and have a license they have to use sterilized needles. I don't think the symptoms would start this early anyway. Just get a test done. Chances are you just picked up the virus from work, school, or wherever else you've been and it's just scaring you because of the timing.

Hi everyone, first of all, thanks for choosing to read my doubt. I'll be short as possible so I won't

eat up your valuable time. 12septmber I have got my tatoo done, first tatoo and I was so happy, when I

got home finally I had the guts to do it, I was so scared about hiv contraction from a tattoo. So what

i did was choose the best artist in this island, I went to him and gave him my design. I made sure

that he use #1. New needle, straight out from the sterile pouch, it was in a plastic sleeve pack,

inside a plastic tube. #2. He used newly poured ink in to a new ink cap. Thats all he took as new, and

i 100% sure about those. So I got the tattoo done even though I was bit scared I was happy after all.

But when I got home I wast telling my friends online and in life both. Somehow, later on I started to

feel scary because I felt feverish the other day. It's not shaking fever, just my body warmth goes up

and my breath goes hot. My heart beat started to go real fast. I was so so so scared, I told it to my

life friends and they told me it could be hiv and I panicked because I got nobody else to tell. What

did I was search for hiv symptoms online. I did search it and I was so terrified, after few days I was

in the garden and I was bitten by a insect, then I got few red bubbles on my bitten area and I was

even terrified. Past few days I lived my life with so much difficulty, I am so scared to go out now, I

am even scared even to think of getting tested. Sometimes I feel ok, but sometimes I am terrified, I

keep touching the glands of my neck to see if they are swollen because I feel like that but they are

not. I am so scared that if my mom gets to know about this, she will start to get worried and panic

too. I feel my temprature high when I am scared, my heartbeat goes real fast sometimes. I am so scared

that on upcoming few days I will start to show this swollen glands and all that, I have a throat dry

like feeling that makes me wanna cough if I wanted to. I am so scared people, today is 23of september,

the 13day from my tattoo. I think I am more worried because I got everything mixed up, the symptoms of

hiv and symptoms of panic attacks. Plus many web sites says different things about hiv symptoms. Some

says, fever, night sweats, etc, while others says soar throat, swollen glands. Please can somebody

ease my pain I am so so so scared, right now all I could do is crawl in to a dark corner of my room

and shiver in fear. I am so scared to hurt my loved ones, the ones who love me will be so upset if

they knows I have contracted hiv. Especially my mom, she's over protective of me since I was a child.

Please help me, is this panic attack symptoms or have I contracted the disease of death?

Dude i'm sure you did not contract hiv because of your tatoo; the virus does not survive long in the air. I am also afraid because I went to a strip bar 2 weeks ago and this girl bit me on the lip. We both do not face too dangerous risks of contracting everyone's worst fears, hiv, but still the fact of being somewhat vulnerable to such a deadly disease makes us panic like hell. The best thing to do is pray. Whenever you go to the dark side of your room ask god to help you, as I am doing. Have faith cuz god can do miracles, and i'll assure you that neither you or me will be hiv + when we get our blood tested. Calm down and pray, its the best thing you can do.

Hehe, yeah, I was so scared those days, but later on my fear towards this thing diminished because I learned a lot about it because of my fear, hiv cannot be contracted like that, contracting hiv like that is possible but it is very hard. It's almost a year since I got my tattoo done, and it is perfectly healed now. I was over worried, even now sometimes I worry a lil when I see a pimple outbreak lol, thats human nature, we are born with fear for something. Thanks a lot for ur help friend, it's good that someone just posted something here again so I reactivated the e health forum account. My doctor told me not to roam around too much health sites because I was having a problem with anxiety sometime back hehe.
