Update On How Ive Been Feeling Posted: 07-15-04 14:51pm
Well most of yall know im on complete
bedrest for the rest of my pregnancy and
if I dont behave on bedrest I get admitted
into the hospital because of the toxima(i
think thats what my doc said) from the
pre-eclampsia. Well I woke up this
morning having small contractions but
nothin serious. We went outside so I can
get some fresh air and it was sooo hot
outside so ryan took me for a car ride to
actually feel the breeze of the fresh air
lol and I started having my contractions
again so I made him take me home because I
thought it was because of the heat. Im
feelin a lil better now but I still have
small tummy cramps. For the past two
nights before bed, id just be layin there
with my feet up etc. And id get sharp
shooting stabbing pains going up my crotch
area. I have a feeling that im dialated
but we'll have to wait and see on tuesday.
Ive also had a headache now for 3 days
and I have been takin tylenol but it
doesnt seem to be helping me. Mackenzie
keeps dropping lower and lower each day so
I have a feeling im not gonna make it to
the two week mark that the doc wants me to
reach. Ryan, myself and his family think
they are gonna hold me at the hospital on
tuesday when we go for the ultrasound.
Because I have to go to my ob doc before I
go to the hospital for the ultrasound.
So we are packin a bag just in case if
they say we have to stay there. Chanda
will get a call if they make us stay at
the hospital or if anything goes on before
tuesday and she said she would post for us
so yall know whats going on. Like I told
chanda if im not on during the
mornin,afternoon, or night then im in the
hospital because somethin happened. Just
so yall know.

Heather! No more car rides! You stay in
bed and keep her in there longer. I'm
sorry you're uncomfortable. I hope you

Im tryin to keep her in there but I dont
think she wants to stay in. Its gonna
suck if they make me go into the hospital
for the rest of my pregnancy since my baby
shower is next saturday id miss my own
shower. We'll see what happens on tuesday
and what the doc says and see how good
mackenzie looks in the ultrasound.
Hopefully nothing happens before tuesday
so pray that nothin happens. Thanks

Have you told your Dr. About the
headache? Not to scare you but I had bad
headaches right before I had the seizures.
I think you should let your Dr. Know.

rides!!!! The breeze may be good but the
bumps and that from the car may not be so
rest rest rest!!!!1 I hope ur appt goes

Tell ryan to get you a fan and open the
window. Maybe that'll be enough fresh air
to hold you over for the next couple of
weeks.

Erin we dont have a window, our room is in
the basement but we have a fan and its on
all the time. Its alot cooler in the
basement than the upstairs. Angie I did
tell my doc on tuesday about my headache
and she said if it continuous and contains
naseuous(sp?) or dizzyness then I need to
look out for it. I do feel sick with
these continuous headache so I will let my
doc know asap. I was layin down for a lil
while before we leave for lamaze and now
im really really hot and my stomach is
shaped really weird and hurts when I move.
I can walk but its uncomfortable so ryan
is keepin an eye on me. Thank god the
class is at a hospital incase if something
happens. My stomach is bein really weird,
yea I was havin the contractions today
like I said but before I layed down it
wasnt all weird lookin it was normal and
now its round and then flat lookin and
alot more pressure down there. But I
gotta go ryan wants me to go upstairs to
get water and then we gotta go. Ill be
back in to check in after lamaze. Love

Hey hun well I wish u luck! She probably
will come early. .But u never know, u'd
be surprised how long they can hang in
there. My doctor thought I wouldve for
sure went last week but hes still hangin
in there and many people think they will
go early for sure like my cousin and she
ended up only a week early but they all
thought for sure 4 weeks early. So dont
worry she might hang in there longer, that
way she wont have to stay at the hospital!

Lol yah dont worry too much!
My doc told me I might go this week...
But no changes and nothin so far! So
hopefully she'll stay in there longer for
ya! Try to make it at least 35 weeks!!!

Yea I want her to stay in there a lil
while longer but I cant control what
happens lol. The reason why my doc is
saying try to make it to the 2 week mark
is because then she'll only have to be on
the incubator for a week ta 2 week tops.
But if my symptoms get worse with my
pre-eclampsia they will have to induce
me(if I dont reach the 2 weeks yet).
Because the toximia will get worse and
that isnt good for me. If I reach the 2
week mark she said they wont give me drugs
to stop the labor and that it would be
safe to have her. So we'll see what
happens on tuesday.
