Oxford Knee Or Partial Knee Replacement
Posted: 09-25-03 12:20pm

Smile hi, I would love to talk to someone who has had this surgery.
I'm in my early 50s, and had an oxford knee in july of this year. I have had physiotherapy, and I go to back to see my specialist in early october.
All being well, I will be filling the papers out for my other knee to be operated on in jan. I thought everything was okay , but I seem to be having a lot of discomfort and pain in my operated knee lately, so would love to have a chat with someone who knows what I am talking about, because they will of gone through the same thing. Hopefully I will hear soon :d

My father-in law had a full knee replacement in may 2003. I can have him contact you. Leave me a private post with you email and I can have him email you.
He is doing real well. He is 62 years old. He would probably like talking to you about it.

Smile hi stldad,
thankyou very much for acknowledging my notice, but I did'nt have a full knee replacement, I had a partial, well completely 1/2 of a full.
I would like to talk to somebody who has had this, not a full, I do hope you understand. I know people myself who have had a full, but I havent met or talked to anybody who has had this..Thankyou anyway...

i had one done in June and was told that I would be pain free in 6mths. Right, I am more uncomfortable now than ever. I have had continual swelling for 5mths. running. I don't know if this is normal or i am abnormal, but for whatever reason I now have to have a total knee replacement and woul also like to hear what other people have experienced .
