I have been coughing up blood, had lung
scan, no tumors were detected but they
found three spots on my lung, the doctors
don't know what the spots are and dont
know where the blood is coming from. Can
anybody help?

Are you going to a lung specialist, you
always have a right to a second opinion,
if it was me, I would keep trying
different dr's until I got some answers
your Dr. Should refer you to another Dr.
So you can get answers.

Thankyou for your reply, yes i've seen two
pulmonary drs., I was hospitalized over
night two weeks ago for it and the Dr.
There said I had lung infection from
bronchitis and he put me on seven days of
anti-biotics, a week after that my
pulmonary Dr.Did a scope and saw nothing.
I go back in three weeks and he wants to
send me to a surgeon, he said they will
cut my chest open and take a piece of my
lung to examine. I don't think I will
consent to that procedure.

I have a problem similar to this. Started
when 2 months after I turned 19 and now
I'm almost 20. Nothing yet... live in
Canada health care sux.
Had a bronschopy, CT scan, blood test and
X ray.
Two doctors prescribed medicine before I
went to a lung specialist.
Didn't take the meds from the doctors..
waiting for reply on my condition..
