I took plan b 2 days ago because we had a
mal-functioning condom.
Yeserday, my friend whom I spoke to about
the whole thing asked if I had started to
bleed yet.
I am not expecting my period for at least
another 10 days... She said that if I had
gotten pregnant this weekend and took the
ec pills.. Id have started to bleed- so
that means I wasnt pregnant.
I didnt read that anywhere .. And I read
a lot about it.
Is this true?

She must be talking about implantation
bleeding, which is bleeding caused by the
embryo attaching itself to the wall of
your uterus. First of all, this usually
occurs a week to two weeks after
conception, not two days, and second, many
women, including myself (17 weeks
pregnant), do not get implantation
bleeding at all. I think you're probably
ok if you took the morning after pill. It
is 85% effective at eliminating possible
pregnancies, and you only had about a
1/500 chance of getting pregnant in the
first place, so that makes your chances of
still being pregnant 17 in 10,000. Dont
worry
