I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks... I went
to the abortion clinic to get cleaned out.
I had to go back after a week because I
was bleeding a lot and the pain. They
said I had a blood clot and re did the
process... Im worried because I really
didnt listen to the resting part of
recovering... I wont let myself stay
laying down for so long, keeping myself
entertained feels better then sitting down
to think about it. Im worried that going
out, walking around, attempting to go
around like nothing is wrong might hurt me
worse. My friend had an abortion and told
me that being over active now could have
caused the clot... I just got cleaned out
again yesterday and later on I went out to
clear my mind, could this cause something
to go wrong and me not be able to have
children later on.
I am trying my best to rest, but its hard
to know what to do right now.

The longer you put off resting like you
were told to, the longer you put off
recovering totally and moving on with your
life. Chances are, unless they told you
you would have trouble having children,
that you will have no trouble having
children, at least physically. You need
to try to stop dwelling on it and actually
come to terms with it. Entertaining
yourself to take your mind off of it won't
help you to recover physically, or
emotionally. Rest, write down your
thoughts, cry, be depressed for awhile.
You have just experienced a personal
tragedy, not a broken arm. Face it and
soon you will feel better both emotionally
and physically.
If you do not rest, you could eventually
hurt yourself internally from scarring and
clotting. Then you will have an issue.
