I just want your opinons on this please.
What would you do if your 14 year old
daughter was trying to get pregnant.
Would you beat her in the head with a
stick and tell her how much of an
embarassment she is, or would you reason
with her like an adult and tell her the
consequences that could come of a 14 year
old getting pregnant?
Im just wondering because im having a big
debate with this girl who feels she would
need to in her words "hit her over and
over in the head with a stick" I find that
a little psychotic. She thinks that my
imgae of the world is messed up because if
my 14 year old happend to accidentley get
pregnant I would support her. Please tell
me what you guys think..

Well we all know what we were/are like at
14. . I was too busy with my ponies to
think about boys at that age. But if it
was me I would be angry, for I would still
want her to grow up a little bit more.
But you cant control anyone once they have
a mind of their own, so I would try and
support her the best I could.

I'd tell her it'll be hard as hell to find
a reasonable father for a baby and that
despite the fact its gonna be hard
physically, mentally and financially, it
would just be weird. Especially
considering the age difference isn't that
much. I mean..My mother is 11 years
older than my father. *blink* I forgot
where I was going with this, but just know
it was a very good point.
Oh yeah! Back to the father issue.
First off, if the father is over 18, he
aint gonna own up to it. And if the
father is around 14 as well, he's not
gonna be able to support it even if he did
have a job. O.O idunno, I just know its
hard for me and i'm 20 o.O

Id be upset, and scared, and i'd let her
know that. I dont think physical abuse or
repramanding is right in any situation. I
would deff reason with her. Tell your
friend she has a lot of maturing to do!

Yeah, I of course would be upset to if my
daughter got pregnant. But theres no way
in hell I would bring her down, tell her
shes an embarassment, and "hit her in the
head with a stick" you know?
Im so thankful I have the mom I do, and I
realized that talking with this chick.

Shes not my friend, I don't even know the
girl. Shes on a different board, on a
different site. I've told her over and
over she needed to grow up because hitting
a girl over the head with a stick for
getting pregnant is irrational. But she
seems to think im the one who is immature.
Whatever. I just let people like that go
off in their own little crazy worlds.

Its on bolt.Com. Its not a pregnancy
site, its just one big site for people to
go meet people and hang out.

I would call a local planned parenting
center, and see if you can schedule a time
for her to come in and talk to some one..
A nurse or something about the issues of
teen pregnancy. Also maybe call a local
teen mother shelter and see if you can
take her for a visit. Its a serious
issue... I would litterally die if my 14
year old daughter did something to that
nature

Well I first would tell her how hard it
is. And I think it would be a little bit
easier seeing im only 16 and im pregnant I
would tell her what I went through. But
if she did end up getting pregnant I would
support her..I woudlnt be mad I would be
dissapointed.

Of course I would not beat her because
that would just cause her to get all crazy
and maybe she would want to get pregnant
even more because a lot of girls feel
neglected and want something to love.
They don't realize the consequence.
I would talk to her and let her know that
it is not easy being a mommy. Maybe
taking her somewhere so that she can see
for herself or have her babysit would give
her a sense of idea as to what she will
have to deal with everyday of her life.
Her social life would change. Everything
would be different.

Well if my 14 yr old was trying to get
pregnant and didnt succeed yet, man I
would ground her til she was 35. I
wouldnt beat her with a stick on the head
or whatever, id get my belt and smack her
out of the clouds. In no way am I gonna
try to reason with a 14yr old as an adult.
And if her daddy dont scare her, I sure
will. And if that dont work, then off to
bootcamp she goes. I am not havin it in
my house. Im gonna make sure I teach my
kids morals and values and teach her to be
like linux and wait til shes married.
Which reminds me I was talking to my neice
and I was like never get pregnant!! And
she was like no way im never getting
pregnant! And I said good not til your
married! And she says no im not getting
married either!! And I said even better!
Otherwise id have to beat some boys up!!!
Shes only 7 lol, but she has the mentality
of an 11 yr old. Like you can carry grown
up conversations with her lol. So as long
as she knows!!! Then she can avoid a
beating! Hehe
