Hello,
i've been stressing... I'm afraid of
insurances! Ahhh help! Here is my
situation....
I changed jobs in august and my insurance
was cancelled on sept 1. My husband's job
picked us both up at the same time on sept
1. So there was never a gap in coverage.
But because I already had my first
pre-natal visit on my old insurance...
Will his new insurance still cover the
pregnancy? I was assured by his benefit
coordinator that it was since there was
not a gap in coverage and we were both put
on this new policy at the same time... I
just need reassurance!

You should be fine on getting covered.
Call your insurance company to find out
though. But there shouldnt be a problem
if you are covered.

If the policy you have now is thru the
same company you were with previously you
should not hvae a problem. However there
are some policies that do not cover if you
get pregnant within the first 10 months of
the effective date of coverage. To be
absolutely positive call them and make
sure. Most insurance companies will cover
pregnancy at 100% or 80/20. Hope this
helps!
