Ohh, it looks like we have a smart one on our hands. Start on his abc's, and you may want to try sign language too. It may not come in handy now, but when he applies to a college, or goes looking for a job it'll b a definite plus. The younger you are , the faster you learn.

Awe! Congrats!

Yes sign language will be a plus, but trust me, its really hard to teach a kid sign language, expescialy if they dont ~have~ to use it. My aunt and uncle are deaf, but both of their kids can hear. They know sign language of course, but no matter how hard my mom tried teaching me it just didnt work, even everynight before bedtime we had a sign language "class"... Ever since I could remember... The only things I actually remembered are simple things like the alphabet, cat, dog, sit, friend, boy, girl, ect.... I can understand what they say to me, but there isnt any way in hell I can say anything back to them. My mom can put on her resume's and crap that shes fluent in sign language, and she gets hired alot of the time because of that though... Not many hearing people know sign language fluently, so its a big plus, when somebody else qualifies just as good as you or even slightly better, you will probably still get that job. My mom wanted me and my little sister to be fluent in signlanguage, but it just didnt work out since we didnt have to use it.
