Q: Possibly Pregnant After Hernia Repair

When my son was born 4 years ago, I had a c-section. The ob
said that she had to make a vertical incision so if I had more children
i'd have to have another c-section. However, after a few months, I noticed
a protustion in my abdomen. I didn't have it looked at until my son was
almost 2 years old (i thought it was just fat). Anyway, it turned out to be
a very large hernia. I had the hernia repaired, and they used mesh. The
surgeon asked if I was planning more kids, I wasn't so I said no. Now, I
am late and I am worried I am pregnant. If I am pregnant, what will happen to the mesh? Since i'll have to have another c-section, will they be able to
cut through the mesh? Anyone know anything about this? Thanks, mary
