I just watched this on the news girl!
Please, be careful! It is still going on
and while this says it hadn't been
confirmed, it now had been confirmed!
Baby-food tampering scare in california
parents in a southern california community
are on edge over threats that baby food
may be poisoned, but authorities urged
them to be vigilant without panicking.
The orange county register reports that
police are investigating two reports that
cellophane-wrapped messages were found in
gerber banana-yogurt deserts in a store in
irvine. The jars were pulled from a
ralphs grocery store, the paper reports,
though the company declined to confirm
exactly which store.
No cases of actual tampering were
confirmed, authorities said.
The two notes were apparently written in
the same hand. In an unusual twist, both
notes referred to an unidentified irvine
police officer, prompting the district
attorney's office to join in the
investigation.
"we don't know how widespread this is,"
lt. Jeff love of the irvine police told
the register. "there are a lot of morally
sick people in the world that might try to
frighten the parents of a child."

Eww, thats too close to home!! Thats the
next county over!! thank god i'm
still preggy, and not feeding a baby that
right now. I hope its not true though. I
hope no baby gets sick from this.
No, it is true. They said on the news it
has finally been confirmed that the baby
food was poisioned.......... sick no
namers!

Well when I watched it on the news out
here, the jars had been opened and had
notes in them. So they said to make sure
the seal has not been popped yet. If they
have alert someone right away.

anyone want to harm a child?
