Ok your good with computers right? Maybe
you can help me with this... When I try
to log onto yahoo messenger it says "you
have been disconnected from the yahoo!
Messenger servers".. What does this mean
and how can I fix this? I really want to
use yahoo on this computer but its been a
year and im too stupid to figure it out.
If it helps any I have a gay power
macintosh umm lol it says power macintosh
5500/225.. But I dunno if that matters or
not. I hope you or somebody can help me
figure this out.

Either give it a sec, or re install it.
Like download it again. You may have got
disconnected somehow. Im still on so I
dont know lol. Just try that

Itd been like this ever since we first
installed it like a year ago... Kevin was
the one that always tried un-installing
and re-installing, but hes dumb sometimes
so maybe he did something wrong... But no
matter how many time I try to sign on, it
says the same thing each time.

Ok so delete it. Then go to yahoo and
just re download it. Thats weird though.

Looks like yahoo changed their login
protocol and your version doesn't support
it. Yahoo has done that several times in
the past year or so because other programs
keep writing support for yahoo and yahoo
wants to make everybody use _their_
program. Yeah, download the newest
version you can find and reinstall.

Crappy... I just spent like 20 minutes
downloading the new yahoo messenger, and
it said it needs mac os 8.6 or newer... I
got like mac os 8.1 or something... Where
can I find a version of yahoo that will
work on my computer

That one needed 8.6 also... Lol I spent
another 20 minutes downloading the same
version

off of said specifically that it would

I went looking for one last night and I
searched for like an hour, and every site
that I found that said it was an older
version that would work with 8.1 would
send me to the yahoo site for the new
one... I dont think anyone has any old
yahoo messengers that I can download
without having to be sent back to the
yahoo site and finding that its the new
one!! Ugh! I hate this computer! It
really sucks ass. Well at least kevin is
building credit by payin bills at this new
place (he wasnt at the other place)...
Maybe someday dell will let us get a
computer lol... They said his problem was
that he didnt have any credit so they
didnt want to give him a computer... Well
at least its not bad credit no more, its
no credit... Lol at least its going up.
