How soon can you get a blood test done?
I've posted a few times here about my
situation and i've been told to wait 3
weeks after the day I think I may have
conceived. Also....Since its possible to
still be pregnant and get a negative on a
home pregnancy test...Is it possible to
get a positive and not be pregnant? I
wouldn't think so because of the pregnancy
hormone thats required to make it
positive, but its just a question.
You can get a blood test as early as 7
days after conception. However it is more
accuate to wait at least 2 weeks. It is
possible but *exteremly* rare to get a
false positive. Generally if a later
tests shows up that you are not pregnant,
chances are that you had a missed
miscarriage and didn't know it. Also with
some tests if you let it set for longer
than 24 hrs the results are no longer
accurate and may show two lines! But like
I said it almost never happens!!
