Need experiences from people about strokes & seizures Posted: 08-02-04 08:54am
Hi everyone. I went looking for a place
to hopefully hear some experiences from
other people who have had strokes and
seizures, the meds they're on...And side
effects from the meds etc....
My hubby had a stroke years back and
suffers now from the seizures which is
caused by brain scar tissue.
Like to know who is all taking dilantin
and how you feel physically on it. I
believe everything that my husband is
going through, maybe caused by this pill
as in side effects. He's taking 6 a day
- 100 mg.
Here's the list of meds he's on - anyone
on any of these as well?
Which symptoms, that your husband is
experiencing, you believe are side effect
from the medicines he takes?

Well, that's all said and done now, and
many changes have taken place since my
last post...he's since suffered another
stroke so, rehabilitation, changes in meds
etc etc...home now and is doing pretty
good. He still can't walk very well, and
didn't get full use of his left arm/hand.
Brain tissue has very small ability to
regenerate so what was lost is lost
forever. You can only try to prevent more
damage (another stroke) and to improve the
motoric functions that left by using
physical therapy.
