Hi,i am just new to this site. And I was wondering if people found that there period was very light after going off the pill. My husband and I have decide to try again and I went off the pill after taking it for two days then I got a period 4 days a few days after I had just had my last period. I was told this is normal so I was like okay. I recently went for my year pap smear and started having a light flow after that. I am now on day 6 of a light flow and I am wondering if this is aperiod or what. I got some resluts back saying that I had some inflammation in my pap ttest but nothing serious the doctor is seeing me like a week later from when they called which was last friday so I go this friday. Anyways I am wondering if this is normal or what. I will ask my doctor when I see him, but until then I am going crazy wondering what is up. My periods have always been so regular and stuff. Even after going after the pill last time when I got pregnant with my daughter.

Any time you change or stop birth control, there is a huge chance of your period being messed up for awhile. Just give it a chance to even out- it will!

No, my period was 4 days early and for the first 3 days I was spotting. Then I began really bleading heavily but with no cramps (it was amazing!) and have been bleeding like that for 5 days! It's getting really irritating too though. I wanna get pregnant damn it and I hope this doesn't screw things up this month. If I don't stop bleeing in the next 3 days i'm going to the doctor.

I have been on birth control a while and my periods evened out....They used to be really irregular...

Anyways I had to stop taking my pill for a while because I was having alot of tests run at the hospital...(i passed out 3 days after I got married on my honeymoon, scared my husband to death...He thought I was dead) I had to stop the pill for a while though while they ran the tests and my periods were really light and late and weird during that time...My doctor said that's normal, because your body is adapting again...I started the pills back up after they found out what was wrong with me and after I started back up my periods were heavier and worse, but then eventually evened back out.

I think you'll be fine as long as you listen to what your doctor tell's you.
