Just Added Somthing New to the Car For Mackenzie ;) Posted: 08-02-04 22:28pm
Ok I got the idea today while at work
seeing other peoples cars that had
children. I thought hey why dont I just
tint the back windows insted of using that
stupid sunshade thing that just...Well the
one I have anyway is just ugly to say the
least, so with that in mind I went back to
wal-mart after work and picked up some
window tint and some fluid to aid in
puting it on. So I heard it was hard to
do but seriously what it was so like no
even possiable to get it to stay on right
it would constantly peel up by itself or
if it was good id find a buble sqweegie it
out then it would peel again it really
sucked but I eventually got the final
result as of now. I was to lazy to redo
the pass side window but theres bubbles in
that one at the top ill try tommaro but I
figured hey now mackenzie wont be getting
hit with direct sunlight and she deff wont
be as hot as it will be in front and just
tint is a good idea for kids I think. Idk
but enough rambling here is a pic of the
final result and like I said the front
windows are not tinted just the rear so
you can compare to see what a differnce it
is and btw its still legal...In wi at
least, 35% is the law but everyone breaks
it anyway...

Wow, you did a great job! The
do-it-yourself craps usually turn out
really crappy and really bubbly. It looks
awesome!

My husbands window's are tinted and we
still have to use the sun shades cause a
lot still comes in. Even the sun shades
don"t block it all. It sucks.
