well guys, mike and I moved into our house
last weekend! It was hard work for him...
But he didn't let me help much at all.
We had about four guy friends that came
over and helped though, so the last part
wasn't so bad.
The first thing we did when we got there
was chase down a neighborhood kid and pay
him $20 to cut the lawn! The previous
owners hadn't cut it in at least two
weeks, and ya know you just can't go that
long in the summer! We told him just do
the front for now, and mike was gonna do
the back once we got our lawn mower out of
storage. When he tried to do the rest,
the lawn mower was broken! So he had to
go buy a brand new one.
When the cable people came to turn our
cable on, they had to install another
outlet for our internet. While they were
doing that, they drilled through the wall
two places by accident! So not only did
they not charge us for the work, but they
are sending a repair guy out to fix it for
free. That was considerate of them!
And we don't have a tv anymore. Mike got
this digital projector that he hooked the
cable and dvd up to. It projects the
picture on the wall. He spent the last
couple of days making a screen, like a
movie screen, to hang up where the picture
will go. Its great! It's just like the
movies and its the equivalent of a 90 inch
tv!

That's wonderful! Mike sounds a lot like
my husband about computers. Jonathan
built a completely seperate computer for
the tv so that we can use the tv as a
monitor as well as watch dvds and record
regular tv. I would not surprised if
was finding a way to get a projector, and
find a wall in our house that he can use
as a screen!! So, anyway, now we have 3
computers and he is always building one
for a friend or relative! So mike
andjonathan should get together!! Lol!

Megan- we have six computers!!! Yep, we
used to have a separate one for the tv
too! I'll post pics of the projector and
screen soon. You've really got to see it
to believe it. Its so great!

Alright what do you two do for a living?
I know you guys got some bank in order to
afford all that! I wanna house of our
own! That way we can buy what we want
with our own money and not her anyone
health forum about it.
Plus I just love the new house feeling.

Mike is a computer/electrical engineer and
I am an insurance agent for .G.E.I.C.O.
But after I have the baby i'm going to be
a housemom!
We also have a little side business doing
web hosting. That's where you let people
rent a little space on a computer to store
their website. So if anybody wants a
website, just go to http://www.Fuzzymonkey.Org!!
Pretty soon we will be making enough from
the web hosting to replace my income!

Ooh ooh, I have a computer question!!
Alright, we have been having trouble
uploading software to our pc and we have
another comp and we wanted pics on the
internet so we uploaded it to the other
comp. We went out to buy floppys the
other day to transfer the pictures that we
upload from that comp to this one, and
ended up getting a router, a mouse and
some ethernet cord. Well we ended up
taking it back because the other computer
wouldn't get the internet but it wasn't
the cord because we tried it with this
computer from the modem and it worked, so
did we do something wrong or is something
wrong with the ethernet jack in the other
computer? That and can spyware cause
software not to download onto a computer
from the cd drive?

Could be... Or it could be the computer
was set up wrong. Sometimes if a computer
thinks you're hooking it directly up to
the internet and you hook it up to another
computer instead, there are different
settings, so it could have been that.
Yes, spyware can sometimes cause computers
to act funky, which might include not
being able to install software. What's
more likely is that the software needs
some other software that your computer is
supposed to have already by default, but
your computer either doesn't have it, or
the new software can't find it.

Yeah me too! That completely sold the
house for us. We really needed four
bedrooms, and this one only has three, but
the kitchen was so great we couldn't pass
it up! The tile is cracked in several
places, so we have to fix that....
