Okay I have another doc appt on the 18th.
And on that day i'll be 15.1 weeks, 4
months. So do ya'll think if I tell her
to give me an ultrasound and the baby is
cooperating that she'll be able to see if
I am having a boy or a girl. I would
really like to finally be able to give my
baby a name instead of saying baby,
he/she, or him/her.And jordan if you are
here pm me, I have something to ask you.

Yeah I agree with jen. I'm 19 weeks and
my little girl's parts were barely
visible!

I was told they look, and if they don't
see boy parts, then its a girl, cause boy
parts would stick out obviously at this
point. So if they can look and say thats
not a boy, the its a girl. Haha cause
girl parts arnt fully developed yet. I
also heard they could give you a guess at
15 weeks if they spread their legs, but I
wouldn't relly on that untill a later
date. Even know with one guessed girl,
and one more confermed girl, I am
wondering if she will turn out to be a he.
I guess time will tell! since I never got a
single "that is a girl!!" I just got..
Looks like a girl, .B.U.T!!! Gerr haha

Well my u/s tech showed us three distinct
lines that were the u-know-what. I have
definitely heard of guessing "girl" for
lack of parts, but what I saw wasn't a
lack of parts, there were definite
parts!
Oh but i'm 19 weeks not 15...

Do ya'll think it is okay if I go to
someone other than my doc to get an
ultrasound. My doc doesn't work in a
hospital, she works in a private office,
and like when they call your name and bizz
you in on the side there is the bathroom
them the ultrasound room. So I won't ever
have one done by an ultrasound tech
(unless she is one too), but just in her
office. So I want to go to a hospital to
have one done to see if there is a
difference. Do ya'll think it's okay, and
how would I go about doing it?

I don't know if you can or not... Some
places require a doctors referral, and if
you are getting ins to pay for it, they
definitely will. You could go to one of
those places that doesn't do it for
medical purposes, like in the mall. Where
they just make pictures and videos, but of
course, you'd have to pay yourself.

I heard the ones they do at the malls can
cause problems for the babys. Its highly
not recamended. Not sure what it can or
would do to them, but I ws told not to do
it at malls.
