Hey Girls I Am Still Here And Still Very Pregnant!!!!

Hey girls I am 12 days overdue now  I
found out they are inducing me on sunday
at 7pm. I found this out on tuesday and
cried for an hour cause I was hoping for
thur. Or fri. Seeing that they said one
of those days!!! Anyways I went to the
doc today and I am still only a fingertip
dialated, but I am 50%
effaced!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woo hoo!!
Anyways sunday they are going to put
something in my cervix to make it thin I
believe she called it cervidel or
something (forgive me if I am wrong) and
then 12 hours later they will start the
pitocin. Well at the doc appt. Today
when she discovered my jump in effacement
she said sunday night they might just
start me on the pitocin, wish me luck!!!
I hope it is sunday cause I am going to be
15 days overdue on monday and that is the
day the will start the pitocin, at 7am and
who knows how long it takes to work???
Just thought I would update you and let
you know what is going on and when I
should have my baby. I am pming chanda
tonight to give her the hosp. Number,
will she be here? Is she back yet? Man I
have been gone for to long!!! Well talk
to ya's soon!!!

Hey thanks I just wish it was all over
with now. I want to hold her so bad. I
am tired of trying her clothes on my
belly. I am tired of carrying around cute
diaper bags and no cute little baby. I am
tired of looking at an mpty crib, and most
of all its these phone calls saying you
still have not had that baby yet? At
first it was like no, but soon. Now 12
days later and 5-6 calls a day its like no
leave me alone, lol. So thanks again and
yeah I am saying sunday so I only have to
think I have 2 days left, lol, technically
it is friday. See listen to me I am
turning into an evil count down person,
lol lol. I crack myself up. I am sorry
if I sounded menai dunno if I did or not I
am having 1,000's of emotions right
now!!!

What would happen if there was no
technology to induce and we only had
nature? Would some be pregnant forever?
Or just a really long time or what?

Well, eventually at the end, your body
starts absorbing the amniotic fluid back
into itself which is dangerous for the
baby. I'm not sure what the body would
do naturally at that point, whether you
would naturally go into labor, or
stillbirth, or whatever.

Wow. I would have screamed at the doctor
to give me and earlier induction date or
tell them I was gonna shove a baby up his
butt and make him carry it for 42 weeks.
I bet your dr is a guy. Girl drs seem to
understand and induce you earlier. But
when they gave me pitocin I was 3 cm
dilated....That was at 4:30 am, I was 10
cm by 10:30 maybe 11 am. But I was too
tired so I didnt start pyshung until
12:10pm. So it doesn't take too long!

Good luck heather. Soon your going to be
holding your beautiful baby girl. Alot
sooner than it feels. I would have yelled
at the doctor and told them I wanted that
baby out and I couldnt take it no more.

Aww sorry to hear heather! I also missed
ur call but I just got out of the hospital
today so call me when u see this!
I hope they induce u soon. Dont worry too
much about inducing... Sometimes its
short and sometimes its long. When I got
induced, I had her within 3 and a half
hours of being induced and I only got
demerol, so its not so bad. But walk walk
walk! I hope ur doing good! Call me soon
and I cant wait to see pics of baby!!!!

Wow, I cannot believe you doc is putting
you through this!! Chrissy's right, it
