Well girls, yesterday night I had massive
bleeding followed by cramps and soon after
a very large clot passed. Before sunday I
took two pregnancy tests that both came
out negative. Before the clot passed I
assumed I was having my period, the amount
of blood was about the same amount I get
on my heavy day, and there were cramps
that felt just like my period cramps. Not
even a half an hour later I passed a very
large clot that I wasn't able to keep
(t.M.I.), about the size of a quarter, I
looked at it closely but wasn't really
able to decipher whether it was a
membrane, tissue, or just clotted blood.
Because of this incident I backed out of
tellin my family i'm pregnant. Because
i'm about 85% positive i'm not anymore. I
was crushed. I'm still going to attend my
doctor's appointment on friday just to be
sure, but I think that was it girls. It
was the means to the end. I really wanted
to have this child, but it seems god has
different plans for me...

I'm so sorry about this you will need to
go to the hospital so that the can do a
scan to determine if it's miscarriage
& then possibly do a d&c

for you! I'm sure there is better timing
for this if it didn't happen this time.

Thanks alot guys. Unfortunately since I
have no health insurance, i'd rather wait
until my appt to verify whether a
miscarriage took place. I know that's
probably not the best thing to do, however
I owe my local hospital over $1000 already
from going to the emergency room, I can't
afford to have that procedure done there
that would just put me further in the
hole. I'm pretty sure it will be awhile
before you girls hear me saying i'm
expecting again, since this one was
unplanned, i'm positive my fiancee' won't
be willing to actually try to get
pregnant. He's got his mind made up he
doesn't want the extra right now. Which I
understand because we're in no position to
raise a child right now with how screwed
up our living situation is, but we were
willing to make it work with this child,
now it's gone, and now i'm back to wishing
and pondering about what if. I hate that
feeling. But i'll be okay, thanks for all
your support girls.

Oh, hun, I am so sorry. I understand
what you mean about hospital expenses, but
if you have had a miscarriage, you need to
have a d&c. You could have
infection, and if it gets bad enough, you
may have trougle getting pregnant again.
I am worried about your health! Please
go to the hospital! Let us know what
happens

I know how u feel. I have a $7,000
hospital bill from when I was having a
miscarriage, because I had no insurance.
My family never found out about it.

I'm pretty sure they would refer me to
another clinic that does it if they don't
do it there. I just really can't afford
to go to a hospital. Unfortunately, I
have the mindset that the damage is done
whether I go to the hospital or wait until
friday for my Dr. Appt, sounds harsh, but
that's how i'm feeling right now. I had a
lot of complications after my whole
abortion fiasco in 2001, every since then
i've had no control of what happens to my
body, and that get's more than
frustrating. When I got pregnant again it
was more a relief than anything because
for a long time me and my man though I was
unable to conceive. I'm kinda afraid to
tell him I want to try again, because it
took so long for him to be comfortable
with this pregnancy, and now the pain of
losing the baby, and attempting to have
another... It's all just so complicated
right now. When I go to the doc,
hopefully I don't have anything too bad as
far as infection wise, I wouldn't doubt
that I still have the bacterial infection
from the abortion. Which sucks. But is
cureable. Again thanks for your support
everybody, it may be awhile before you
hear from me again, i'll be sure to update
you on the doc appt though, but I need
some me time to cope with this incident...

God has different plans!! Hah, so I guess
we are all a bunch of puppets in his
little show, never mind our plans!!
Anyway sorry, maybe if worst comes to
worst, a surrogate? I heard abortions
do mess up ability to carry a baby a
little bit. I would wait to try again
because if you have another miscarriage it
may make it virtually impossible to have a
baby. You have to give your uterus time
to heal.

I'm so sorry for your lost. I had 2
miscarriages before having my daughter, so
I know how you feel. But the only problem
is I didn't go to the doctor and get a
d&c, but I advise you to go and get
checked out.
