Blood Test N Pregnant?

Well this is my secod post. Last post I was worried I was pregnant. I was hospitalized last saturday cause we thought I had appendicitis. They tooka blood test. With that blood test, could they have found out if I was pregnant? They sed it was good and evertything was fine =/ im just here to make sure?

They probably would have to test directly for pregnancy. If they tested your blood for an apendicitis, they were checking for other things in your blood such as your white blood cell count, etc. Have you started yet? If not, please take a home pregnancy test just to make sure. Pre-natal care is very important. Good luck!

One of the first things docs check for in women of child bearing age with abdominal pain is pregnancy.I would hope that was done for you.Usually one of the first questions that would be asked -"is there a chance that you're pregnant?".Call your doc and ask if a pregnancy test was done,if not ,stop by and have one done.Good luck!Patty

They could have used that blood for a pregnancy test especially if you were having abdominal pains. Take a home pregnancy test to find out.
