Ok me and my girlfriend have been having
sex for awhile now.. And now she has
urinary tract infection, yet she is one
week late on her period. We took two
test already and they both turned out
negative. Could the urinary tract
infection affect the pregnancy test??
Also another question. She is has been
frequently peeing(not alot of pee comming
out), always tired. Has sore stomach ,
having headaches. Having little bit
nausea, and is dehydrated.. Is this
symptoms of early pregnancy or is it
because of the urinary tract infection??
Could she be pregnant??
Edit::
another question.. We took another test
and she it came out a negative.. Soo
could some 1 plz tell me why she still
hasnt had her period yet, and shes been
late like 1 1/2 week and wut would be the
cause of it??
Plz help!

A uti (urinary tract infection) will not
affect the test.
Girls only (usually) have a period once a
month.
Make sure you take precautions when having
sex ie use a condom.
If you have been having unprotected sex,
then I suggest you get her to see her
doctor - a negative test could be because
a) you tested to early, b) she hasn't
produced enough hcg (pregnancy hormone),
c) not a sensitive enough test, there
maybe other reasons.
But get her to check with her docotor and
make sure you always use a condom. (as
they also protect against infections
unlike birth control pills)
if you can, get condoms that contain
"nonoxyl-9" this is a spermicide or use a
*water based* lube containing nonoxyl-9.
I say water based as oil based lube's can
perish the rubber/latex of condoms and
render them useless
Kia is right. I think it would be best to
check in with the doctor. If you two are
not ready to take up the consequence I
suggest you two protect yourself if you
are not doing so.
