I do not wish to dis anyone but someone is posting on this board, claiming medical qualifications and unfortunately a fair bit of their info is not correct.
All in all don't take any advice on here as gospel, if you are not sure please please contact your doctor or midwife Rolling Eyes

I dont know who this post was directed to, but if it was me, i'm not claiming any "medical qualifications". I'm still in nursing school, so I have no degree or license...Yet! So if I ever give any answers to questions or "advice" I always say here's what I know but, call your doc and ask! But seriously if I have given "wrong information" let me know, because I wanna know if I have said anything wrong! I wont get mad! Hope ya'll are having a good night!

Yea I dont kno anyone else that gives medical information and I know lauren does say to call our docs and I always appreciate her information. Other then that, we all kinda give our "medical" opinion on things but always advise them to call a doc to be sure. Is there someone imparticular?

Girls, please also beware of people who seem really "nice" but you don't know all that well. I know that you girls are not stupid and that you already are on alert, but just please be extra careful! I don't want anything to happen to any of you! Trust your instincts!

No lauren, its not you.
At present I am not naming as I do not want to be nasty but just advising you all to be very careful.
Incidentally to put you all at ease, the culprit has not yet posted in this thread Wink

That is good to know!
Hey, I guess I am not the only one up already! Alright!
Yes, I do not like to name names either, thus my not very detailed previous post. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but there is a user that I don't think should be trusted and I worry about my girls.

I think maybe you're just taking it wrong b/c I do not recall anyone giving "serious" medical advice without having copied something from another website and pasting it here. I'm not trying to sound rude or anything. Most of the girls who have been here for a while understand that it is strictly our opinion and they should always consult a doctor. I worked in labor and delivery so I have some knowledge from working there but even more than that I just had a baby 2 months ago and I had pre-eclampsia that was never diagnosed until it turned into eclampsia 4 days after I had my daughter. So whenever I hear that someone is having the classic symptoms I always warn them b/c I almost died and I don't want that to happen to any of the girls on here! Is it someone who is pretty regular here?

Yeah I cant remember anyone doing that either angie. But it's a good reminder to us all anyway.

Plus hotasfrick there is a user I am very aware of that I dont trust one bit. I am going on pure instinct and experiances of people on the internet to assume and possibly pre-judge that all is not right. Everyone just be a little careful. You dont know what type of person you may be talking too

i indeed am a middle aged balding man named arthur who likes spiderman comics and gardening! Lol j/k

Lmao suzi! You're funny! Well I must say if you come on the internet and take medical advice from just anyone you're pretty darn stupid in my opinion!

No, girls it is in the regular "pregnancy" forum and a couple of other ones. I haven't seen it here yet. And yes, this particular person does claim to be a medical professional, but probably doesn't even know where babies come from! Seriously!

You are balding? I went bald years ago and all of my teeth are rotted out! But I am such a nice guy. If I was with a girl who got pregnant I would treat her so good she wouldn't know what to do! Even though I am 75 and a pedaphile.

I have to agree with all of you. I don't really read a lot of post on here so I have not come across who ever this person is.

But you are right it's best to call your doctor because they can give you a more accurate answer. All we can do is either give an opinion or talk about our own experiences.

We also have to be aware in whom we talk to just to always stay on the safe side.

Sometimes we don't think about it but it's good when someone brings it to our attention.
Thanks

I went and read all of her posts....That makes me so mad! I responded to one of them...I think it was in the "pregnancy calendar" section. This girl doesnt have a clue what she is talking about. She makes nurses as a whole look terrible and that angers me off. I am not working myself to death in school to get the kind of reputation she is earning us!
