Help With Gum Pain After 2 Teeth Out Posted: 08-12-04 02:41am
Hi, 2 days ago I got 2 teeth out 1 at the
top and 1 at bottom they are at the back
of my jaw, and I am getting pain I feel
like my gum where tooth was out is gonna
explode, and I have this funny taste in my
mouth, I have washed my mouth out with
mouthwash, warm water with salt and loads
of other ideas, I just end up having to
take painkillers to help. How long will
it take to heal??

It shouldn't take too much longer to heal.
I know it is a pain, but just be
patient.

I hope you're doing better.It sounds like
you may have a dry socket.You should call
your dentist right away.If it is dry
socket,they can give you medication for
it.Oh,try not to do any vigorous rinsing
or spitting.Both of these can disturb the
healing process and dislodge the clot that
is needed for proper healing.Best of luck
