Ugly Dress(i Finnaly Got Pics Maybe Yall Can Know What It Is

Everyone knows what a quincianera is
right? Well if you dont its where in the
mexican culture when a girl turns 15 she
celebrates w/all her family usually do a
church thing and then a reception and a
dance (kinda like a wedding at least the
planning is) well my best friend is having
hers and she's not very traditional so she
decided to do something diff. Instead of
the usual cinderella or something
practical she decided to do hawwaian.
Its pretty and all but I personally dont
like the dresses they are white spaghetti
strap and they put 5 hubiscus flowers in
the middle. I personally dont like them
I wish I had my cam so I could show ya.
The guys have to wear hawaiian shirts,
cacky pants and flip flops. Cody my bf
is mad bc he think its weird that they are
all gonna wear diff color cacky pants.
We are also wearing a hubiscus flower in
our hair.( all of us diff colors)
i just wish she had gottn us adiff color
drees bc I think if we are wearin white it
will take away 4rm her dress.
Sorry if this is kinda stupid I just
wanted to share.

an event-why do they celebrate being 15?

I've been in 2 heh. Everything leading up
to it sucked but the actual day was fun
 hawaiin is
different. Both the ones i've been to
were crazy fancy..Like a ball heh. I have
pics from it too!

In our culture 15 is like you becoming a
women so they celbrate it. Some guys have
even had one thats not really traditional
either but if it makes them happy who am I
to judge.
I had mine last oct. It was real fun but
stressful bc I didnt want no help planning
it but my own it turned out pretty good
maybe some time ill post some pics of it
maybe then you understand

Thats sounds kinda weird having a hawiian
theme in a quincenera. But its the girls
choice. I saw pics of my sis in laws-
shes 14 but she was in one, and their
dressed were like.. Old fashioned style.
I cant think of the name but they had long
sleeves, in different colors, and the
dresses were very puffy. I dont know
about different colors, id keep them the
same color but in different styles. But I
never had one, didnt want it lol. My
friend had hers a long time ago and we
didnt know why cuz she wasnt a virgin
anyways, that just kills the whole point.

Um mine was diff colors also they were
pastels pink, blue and purpple.
My cousins was also pastels but hers had
mor colors she had purple pink blue orange
yellow and green. I wish I could post my
pics but my scanner isnt working

What a quincianera was all about here are
some pics of mine....
the one with the kids is me and my niece
jacqueline and my nephew gabriel and
theother one is just me.

 the one with alot of ppl is
all of my court like the ppl who stood up
in it my colors were pink purple and
blue!!! The other is me dancing with my
dad during the march that is a dance u do
with all ur court and ur family

I dont know if u look close enough u mite
be able to see but my crown was a bit
taller and this guy was gonna do my hair
that day so I asked him to do it a week b4
to see if I liked it well he got a little
to excited that bc u could place the crown
anyway like strech it or make it smaller
(wich u couldnt) well he ended up braking
it and not even doing my hair o well
